Startup screen or
Main menu, from here projects are managed, and shops and
suppliers maintained.
This is the
project "work" screen, from this point all aspects
of a project can be accessed. To enter parts, services
or labor simply CLICK on the desired category and enter the
items in the project "details" form.
The
"details" screen allows you to enter items and/or
mark a desired item "paid" or "completed".
There are two views of items in a project: 1 - The
"Edit" view is used for data entry and maintenance
of items. 2 - The "List" view allows all items
to be viewed together or only selected items based on item
status (paid, completed). Subtotals for cost and labor
hours are also provided in this view.
Using the
optional "Stages" function will give you the ability
to associate specific items with a given stage. You
control the number and description of stages, thus letting you
get as detailed about the steps in your project as you like.
A step by step
system makes creating the report you want as easy as clicking
a mouse. There are two report types: 1 - Standard list
items and all associated totals based on your selection.
2 - Checklist list items with a box (for checking) based on
your criteria.
The
"Progress" screen is a nice feature to visually show
you how far you've gone (or how far you have to go!).
Progress graphs can be viewed for dollars spent (parts and
services) or personal hours (labor).
"Notes"
is just that, a place jot down any ideas or important things
to remember.
The "Cardfile"
list all contact information about suppliers or shops and any
associated items for the current project.
Once you put in a
number of parts to be purchased from a particular supplier,
you may wish to print out an order of those selected parts.
The "Print Order" screen allows you to do just that.
The printout can be faxed or used when making an order by
phone.
Use the
"Photos" function to keep a pictorial history of
your project or how things
looked before you took it apart.
